Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. De La Garza moved soon to Texas and studied the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and shortly after made the move in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, including independent local films and commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love in the field of acting even in minor role. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first role was on All My Children's daytime soap as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she acted minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside a number of the famous TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Following a brief period, she was transferred onto Law & Order: LA. This particular character earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, De La Garza won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. The most recent television appearance was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly more dark-hearted drama Do No Harm. It was pulled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is an Italian father, as well as a brother Cory, who is 10 years younger than her. Her family was an environment that was strict and extremely spiritual. Milano started her acting career when she was seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her in an audition. The four selected girls out of over 1,000 potential candidates were chosen by Milano. Milano has appeared in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and in the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
